Hey guys! You know we love a quick and easy recipe, so we set ourselves a bit of a challenge… create 2 dips that can each be made in under 3 minutes! These dips are a great way to make healthy snacking an absolute breeze.
First up we have a classic. When I say we are obsessed with hummus… we are OBSESSED with hummus. Considering how much we eat it, we had to give a homemade one a try, and this is what we came up with:
1 Tin of Drained Chickpeas
1 Clove of Chopped Garlic
2tbl Water or Oil
Juice of Half a Lemon
½-1tsp Salt (We like to use Himalayan)
1tsp Cumin Seeds
Put all the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until it reaches a smooth consistency… you can blitz for more or less time depending on how chunky you like your hummus. You may need to stop and give it a little stir in between processing.
Next up we’ve got this lovely spinach number. A little different, this one is a fabulous way to get in some leafy greens in a tasty dip, perfect for a mid-afternoon snack.
4 Cups of Spinach1 Large Ripe Avocado
Juice of Half a Lemon
½-1tsp of Salt (We like to use Himalayan)
Same again folks, whizz it all up in a food processor until it has a smooth consistency for dipping. You can have a play with the lemon and salt and add to taste.
